Reflection: Small moments of mindfulness can have a profound impact
Today, I’m grateful for: My first inaugural yoga sesh on the deck
Challenge: Try an early morning yoga practice. How did it feel?
I woke up this morning ready for a fresh start and the crispness of the morning sun and warmer temps was exactly what I needed to get me going. I decided to tackle my first yoga sesh on the deck for the year. Last summer, I had started nearly every day with a peaceful yoga practice on our deck. It helped me reset, renew and get my mind right for a new day. Kona even likes to join me! 😂

I turn on my tunes, take a deep breath and let my sun salutations take me away. Oh, how I missed this. It is my one time during the day that I feel like I truly have the opportunity to connect with myself, Mother Earth, and the greater spirit that lives within us all. I breathe, I listen, I pray, and I go through the motions to breathe new life and positivity back into my soul.
Today, I’m grateful for my “first inaugural yoga sesh on the deck”. 😄 And I’m looking SO forward to many more to come!
