Today, I’m grateful for: This moment

It lasted about 10 seconds. But it was the sweetest 10 seconds I’ve had in a while. Sitting cheek-to-cheek with my little man. Feeling his face press against mine and enjoying every sweet second of the snuggles I miss so SO much. Calculating the risk-to-reward that any second, he might flail his erratic body into some ridiculous body slam, but hoping that the bliss might last a just a little bit longer.

Today, I’m grateful for this moment. And it makes me so excited to soon be able to scoop my sweet baby boy (and girl!) up and love on them the way we mamas do. 💙
