Today, I’m grateful for: an uneventful day
In silence,
there is movement,
motion,
madness.
The tick of the clock,
the hum in the hall,
the mess of the mind.
Observation,
anticipation,
motivation,
resignation.
In acceptance,
I find beauty,
comfort,
peace.
Though volatile and intermittent,
the peaks bring stillness,
while the valleys swirl violently within.
Small goals. Big dreams.
One day at a time.
One day. Day one.
Over and over, til it is done.
Today, I am grateful for an uneventful day.
